Sang Bajak laut itulah yang bertanggung jawab atas resep rahasia, dia memiliki buku ajaib yang mampu menuliskan jalan cerita spongebob squarepants dan mengubahnya sekehendak hati. Dengan buku itu pula spongebob dan kawan kawan kemudian dibuang dipulau terpencil sarang burung pemangsa, namun beruntung Sandy menyimpan satu lembar dari buku ajaib itu yang tak sengaja dijatuhkan oleh bajak laut dirumahnya beberapa saat sebelum resep rahasia hilang secara misterius.
